Photography is my passion. It is my love, my obsession and my infatuation. I got my first camera when I was in kindergarten, it was a disc camera and my most prized possession. I took pictures of everything! From mock modeling sessions of stuffed animals to posing cousins and other family members for my endless "mini shoots", I always had that camera nearby. Twenty-five years, a dozen cameras and millions of photographs later - Get The Picture Photography was born! After 4 years of location and home photography, my studio opened in 2007.
Follow your heart. That was the most profound statement that helped me start on the pathway to my dream. I now get to live my dream every day. My goal is to help you capture YOUR life's precious moments. I firmly live by theory that Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. I do not "take pictures" - I capture your special moments, I help you preserve your emotions and memories and I enable you to relive the feelings and passion of your event. With a God given talent and the desire to please, I make sure that you have portraits that you are proud to display and share. It is so awesome to know that I'm on the path that God has set for me.
Through my business, I've met the most amazing people. I've wiped noses and tears, changed diapers, played on the floor, climbed trees, cut up with cheerleaders, cracked up nervous grooms, danced with a singing frog, consoled parents and witnessed most of life's events. This is my Business. This is my Passion. This is my Obsession. This is my Infatuation. This is my Life.
